House of Rock was established on July 28th, 2005 in the heart of downtown Corpus Christi. House of Rock is divided into three sections: The Venue, The Middle Bar and The Main Bar which now includes The Kitchen. The Venue hosts live music and entertainment, as well as private events including weddings, fundraisers, parties and more. The Main Bar is open 7 days a week and there is never a cover.
You can always catch live music in the Venue or on the small stage. Check out our events calendar to see what’s coming up! We host weekly Open Mic Night every Tuesday open to all kinds of music, comedy, poetry and just about any kind of performance you can think of.
The Venue at the House of Rock has been home to many local, regional and national touring acts from a wide variety of genres. Some of our past shows include Slightly Stoopid, Todd Snider, As I Lay Dying, Pepper, Billy Joe Shaver, We Came as Romans, Iration, Shooter Jennings, Clutch, GWAR, Circa Survive, The Expendables, Behemoth, Steve Earle and many more.
The Venue at House of Rock is home to several special events including the CC7D film project, Zombie Prom, Tropicoso, After Dark Revue Burlesque, Dia de los Muertos and more. The Venue at House of Rock accommodates a variety of special events from wedding receptions to corporate parties.
